Here's a real question to Muslims?

Question

Why is it so many of you find the time to run out in the streets to protest against anything that questions Muhammad negitivily, yet don't do anything about anything that makes fun of Jesus. Does Islam no believe in Christianity as the religion that precedes Islam? Is Jesus not the most quoted prophet in the Qu'ran? In fact why don't Muslims refer to Jesus, as "The Prophet Jesus Christ, Peace be upon him" as they do for Muhammad?

Firstly we do refer to Jesus (PBUH)as a prophet not Christ. And we are just as offended when people make derogatory statements about any of the prophets, including Jesus(PBUH). Christianity and Judaism both proceed Islam. But Islam is the religion all people are supposed to follow once it was revealed if Christians and Jews choose to ignore it that's there problem. And Jesus is quoted more often in the quran than Muhammad (PB UH) whats your point?????

I am not Muslim and so cannot speak directly for them, but I would say... Islam does not come from Christianity, it came out of Judaism. They call Jesus a prophet because he had a lot of wise things to say but do not believe in him as the Savior or as anything of this sort, just a man with great knowledge. Or one who has been "enlightened" Thus, they get offended when someone calls on Muhammad negatively because he is to Muslims what Jesus is to Christians. Although they believe that Jesus was a prophet he was not the Savior of the world as Christians believe, so someone talking against Jesus doesn't hold as much ground.
In short: Jesus=great prophet, not god or son of god to Muslims.
Muhammad=holds a lot more ground in Islam than Jesus, and is the highest prophet.

That is inaccurate. Real Muslims are not extremist ones. Extremist ones started popping up when? When politics got involved worldwide and foreign policy was implemented. A real Muslim believes in a lot of different things. They actually BELIEVE as well. They do not drink, intoxicate, fornicate, etc. They really do focus on self discipline and value their life. Suicide is forbidden in Islam under any circumstance. When did you yourself know what a Muslim really was? After 9/11? Or you knew before that? Lack of ignorance, lack of cultural and religious classes and experience have left those that are ignorant, really ignorant. You will never allow to understand a faith since you have been manipulated by the media, and your own racist view towards a faith.

I am a mulsim and to me, "JESUS" does not exist. "Jesus is a false name given to a false man-god by ignorant believers. On the other hand i do know of a prophet named ESA, (pbuh) whom i have great respect for, and when anyone questions him negativly ill run out into the street to protest. ESA (pbuh)is the most quoted in the quran, not JESUS. So whenever someone says something bad about ESA, call me and ill come running!!!!!

Actually, Muslims do wish peace upon Jesus. You just don't listen.

As far as they are concerned, Muhammed was the latest and last prophet of God/Allah, and hence the last word on the subject. If you want to use who came before whom as an argument, then you should respect Judaism more than you do.

We don't make fun of Jesus is because Jesus is a prophet but he name in Islam is Essa. And by the way making fun of anyone is forbidden. And the reason why we don't believe Christianity is because in Christianity there are things that are allowed and in our religion forbidden. And the thing is There are many things that are not allowed like lying, theft, killing, etc. Some things that are forbidden are true. And wasn't Essa a very noble man? And in the Bible there are things that say that drugs and such are allowed. Did Jesus use drugs and eat pork? No! Our prophet, Muhammed, we follow whatever he did. But of course he use to do many more noble things than us.He told u he things that are wrong and we forbid them. Don't you think there is a reason why drugs are forbidden. One it kills you, and two waste of money, and three it can cause you to do things that are unusual and violent.

first of all we do call Jesus(pbuh) and love him as our prophet
secondly most of the insult towards Muhammad is carried by christains ,no offence but its true....Pope comments, cartoon etc they show how insulting christains are towards muslims......thats why muslims protest........but no one ever insult Jesus( pbuh) ..and why? becuase muslims love him as their prophet n christain ofcourse wont do that.i had never heard of any insulting attitude against Jesus( pbuh) ,,,thanx God that He is saved and thanx to christanity that they respect Jesus atleast.

yes you are right , we believe that islam was proceded by christanity and jesus(pbuh) is most quoted prophet.there is no doubt in it n we love him equaly as we love our other prophets.....n yes these insulting attitude of christains for Muhammad could not effect our love for Jesus..he is our prophet n no matters wht His followers do, we love him always

One of the fundamentals to be a Muslim believer is to believe in all Allah messengers and the Prophet Jesus Peace be upon him is one of them
and we do refer to him as the prophet Jesus Peace be upon him as we refer to Mohammad Peace be upon him.

This is more an observation than a question. Muslims do take violent slight at any offense against Mohammad, while ignoring the same if done to Jesus. Your example points out a glaring descrepancy in that worldview.

I toooootally agree with you!! and as a muslim i am so upset that the ignorant do that. How many times has Jesus ( our beloved prophet) has been blasphemized yet most Muslims just sit back and do or say nothing.
