Newborns need the chance to be children before they're "welcomed to reality." All children deserve a few years to just be innocent and play kids' games and believe in toothfairies and magic and happy things. That can only lasts a few short years and then they're aware of the sad, real world for another 60 years or so..

Not all of them because others should be forced to learn to flip burgers and get burned all the time, and others would need to learn how to type numbers on the number pad for 10 hours a day.

Really good question. Maybe first they should see if they would qualify for the factories by making them run over hot coals and then see if they can outswim a shark.
