I believe you should first off talk to the little boy's parents...and if nothing seems to change, i dont think you should allow you son to be friends with the little boy any longer. Since you are his mother it is your responsibitily to remove things out of his life that have a negative influence. Of course he might get mad at you now, but in the end he will completely understand and thank you... would you rather take the chance of having your son get mad at you, or take the chance of having your son start acting like the other little boy??

This is YOUR son and you have to do what is best for him. Since your sone is mild mannered and polite he probably likes everyone. I would find out who he likes in his own class at school and make a concentrated effort to take him and maybe 2 of his buddies to the movies or out to eat... do this for about a month and he will forget all about the ill mannered boy. I don't think he needs to be around kids that act that way. If he is with him too long, he will think it is OK and he will learn some of his traits. You know you are doing the right thing by getting him away from him... don't feel so bad about it. You are right... believe me...

Don't start trying to pick your kid's friends. Your son needs to be exposed to all kinds of kids because as an adult he will be exposed to all kinds of people in the real world. I say to continue to allow the friendship but limit the time this boy is in your home to 1/2 hour to an hour. It is not this CHILD'S fault he is the way he is, he had to have LEARNED his behavior somewhere, I suspect at home. Maybe your son can be a GOOD influence on hm, I don't see how he can be as horrible of an influence on your son unless YOU give up total control over your son to him. Having him over to play isn't going to "ruin" your son, but YOU have to be willing to teach him that what other children do is not always right and that your SON has to live by the rules that you as his parents set forth. All you're going to accomplish by trying to pick his friends is one day he is going to rebel and wind up with the REALLY wrong crowd.

Oh, so which you're confident that your son grew to become into no longer in any way answerable for the undeniable fact that he grew to become into straddled via a wild lady? with the aid of fact your son does not have any temptations or hormones by any skill and he's often suitable? Wow. purely wow. An 8-10 year previous isn't being sexual with boys. provide me a harm. no longer in the type you mean besides -- confident, teenagers are curious, even though it may in no way bypass that some distance. in case you prefer talk over along with her mom so which you would be able to hear her lambaste you approximately how her daughter could in no way do something like that, i think bypass forward. And confident, you are able to tell your son to stay faraway from her. you are the mother, exercising some authority.

If it were my child and he was 5 years old, I would take him to a play date with some other children to spark his interests there. I would not let my son continue to play with this child until he grew out of the stage of being rude....its not good for a 5 year old to be around and you definitely don't want him to start acting like this little boy...which will happen eventually. Good Luck!

You Really should call his mom and tell her that you think that it is best if your sons not hang around together anymore... we recently had a peoblem along the same lines. Just tell her that when the two of them are together it isn't the best thing
She will Explain this to her child if she a good parent
Good Luck

Well usually friends are supposed to be exact opposites. I think you should let them hang out, but just make sure your son doesn't turn bad. Also you should tell your son's friend if he wants to play with your son he has to tune it down a little and behave.

there really is no way of telling her in a nice way that you don't like her child around yours.but what you could do is when he is in your home if he is disrespectful or rude to adults explain to him you don't talk or act like that in your home and he needs to behave or your going to call his parents to pick him up.and if he still doesn't listen then do it call his mother and explain to her he is not behaving and needs to go home and can come back another day when he wants to follow the rules.

We have a kid in our neighborhood like that and I finally said NO. I told him he wasn't aloud to play with my kids anymore. He has caused damage to our property and all! You don't want your child thinking it is ok to act that way. Start early and don't let him come around anymore.

Well you'll have to either tell his mom what's going on, or just say that he's not welcome in your house anymore. Don't lose control over your own son just because you're too bashful to confront his mom. You owe it to your son to protect him against bad influences.
