I find it annoying when someone asks an ambiguous question that can be taken more than one way and then gets annoyed that you didn't read their mind.
I also get annoyed when people slap together a question in two seconds with horrible spelling and grammar that barely makes sense in any language, and then expect a serious well thought out answer.
If people were clear and careful in their use of language, we wouldn't have these problems.

Yes, it is indeed annoying on the computer. It's absolutely maddening when it happens in person. It seems like the only option you have at that point is a statement of, "And your point is?"
Another personal favorite of mine is when someone asks for your input and you understand the question completely but fail to give them the answer they wanted. They always seem to follow it with "Yeah, but..." (Always spoken as one word)
It all makes you wonder if people truly listen to one another, though I suspect if they did, none of us would be having this conversation over the internet.
Consider internet forums like a diamond mine, you have to take all the meaningless stuff to find a gem.

yes, but you also have to respect the fact that not everybody thinks the same. you take the good with the bad when you put yourself out there, for the public to offer opinion on.
