OK, I work in a place with alot of other women my age. I'm not a very social person - I'm pretty quiet in fact so I NEVER give other women complements and I never hang out with people, never drink socially and I do everything alone...

I have a pretty girlfriend - very sexy, long hair, etc and I placed a large picture of her in my office as well as some of her and myself together.

Despite the fact that I'm obviously involved,,, I have serious problems with women trying to talk to me all the time - despite the fact that I try to ignore them and bury my head in a computer all the time.

Its gotten so bad, I have other women sitting accross from me with short skirts and no panties on who sit with their legs uncrossed and I keep getting invites to lunch and dinner.

Why do women do this?

Why is it women bother to aim for men who have stable relationships (or marriages)?

First of all, not all women do this, some prefer to find thier own man. :) Secondly, some women like the challenge of trying to get what they can't have. Thirdly, some women actually like a guy more when they are taken b/c it shows they are the commitment material which is what they want. Little do they know that if you did leave your gf, that means you are not commitment material.

In either situation, if you actually left your gf for one of these women they dump you in a heartbeat. lol If you don't want to confront them, then just ignore them, they'll eventually stop.

I don't think they are coming on to you per se. I know I will be a little more friendly to a guy if I know he's involved. It's not because I want to go out with him, it's because I know he's in a relationship. I don't believe he's going to see my actions as relationship olvertures. If all they are doing is asking you to lunch or dressing to flatter themselves, then it's probably not meant to be a romantic overture so much as a friendly one. If they start touching you, that's a different story.

Have you considered that seeing these actions as overtures might mean that in some area you are uncertain in your relationship with your girlfriend? It sounds like you are at pains to isolate yourself from other people. A truly strong relationship is between two partners who recognize they can't be everything to someone, and allow their partner a support network of friends, family and, yes, work collegues.

Good luck to you.

women love to see men wander out of there relationship with there lovers. its a sick thing. If your quiet and didn't talk to other people very much, they see you as a challenge. its just a game for them. they are trying to think of all fantasy that would turn men on, and well...turn them all on you. but I'm proud of you! You stick through it all, and just give them a bad look. Let them know you have no respect for them. They will start to feel stupid, and i hope stop. These women have no respect for them self's and I'm sorry you have to deal with it.

Because some of those women just want a fling with no strings attached and probably are attached them selves. But if you are getting shots like that you are working in a nice place lol

I don't know why they do it...it's disgusting and insulting to women in general...I do not like to think of those chicks as good representatives of my sex...

If the women are talking to you casually (not flirting) then be friendly..it's okay to do so...don't fear ALL female contact is sexual in nature or a woman's attempt to snag you...

However for those that flirt, kindly let them know you are happily in a relationship and don't want to disrespect yourself or your girlfriend by communicating inappropriately with others...

For the no underpants women, there's not much you can say for fear they may turn it to sexual harrassment (even though they are the ones airing their coochies in your face)...

Feel sorry for them...they obviously have no morals or self esteem or consciences...it's rather sad if you think about it...

It's about trying to get something you know you shouldn't have.

Men always look better to some women when they are in a relationship......maybe she wants someone she knows will commit.

Maybe she's just a flat out slutpup??

it is because you are stable.... if you took them up on it, you would no longer be as interesting..... women talk.....get a do not disturb sign if it bothers you, and for heaven sakes, stay faithful.... if for some reason they're over the line, report it!

Not all women, but some enjoy the chase. Once they got you, they wouldn't want you anymore.
