Sorry, I too am an atheist. I can't help you with your faith but I am sorry that you and your friend are going through this. There is so much pain in the world. In Africa a child dies due to diseases from unclean drinking water every two minutes.

What I try to do, to ease the pain, is to volunteer. To ease the pain of another and help where I can. Because sometimes there is nothing I can do to ease the pain of one I love.

I can't help restore your faith in god. {hugs}

God has replaced my existence a lot. i am going to be a fool to imagine that mere people did that. I have tried to describe my adventure on the following formerly; i realized it cant be done. that is too outstanding. My heart replaced into completely replaced. The Holy Spirit runs each and every ingredient of my existence. i'm a real soldier for Christ <3 and no, i do not trust purely because im petrified of consequences. I have considered what some consequences are, and thats unlucky. I make mistakes for all time, yet I have God residing in my soul, and the guilt vacation i'm getting after sinning is more suitable than ever. i regulate after i think that, i dont purely get scared and run and cover, and trust because I even ought to. My believing in God is an total determination. He delivers my a lot love, trust, protection, compassion and forgiveness. It cant get any more effective =] God Bless

Why do you think that this is God doing this?...Through something like this you don't dare ...Get mad at God... that right their sets your Faith back as far as it will go...It is called Temporary Faith that you have Your faith flares up...Quickly but fails to endure..It has no root and endureth just for a while...meaning when the tough gets tough your faith runs away from you...The book tells you that when 2 or more come together it will be done...But your faith has to be strong.....In what you are asking ...You see the world is miss treating our children...And the Lord is feed up with it ..I know this is a hard thing to except....But you said the mother is a very strong person..She dose not want Her daughter to suffer no more how do you know that some one hasn't ask the Lord to take Her out of Her miseries...And pain and suffering...Were She is going she will never suffer again....And the Lord dose not what any of our children to suffer....Rebuke this in Jesus name...Get a large group of people to pray for a miracle...And dont be ashamed to Tell the Lord just how you fill...And ask if it be His will to save this precious child....Let it be done...I am praying for you all ...And if it be His will it will be done...God bless you sweetie and this precious Family...And never drop your faith when you are uo against something like this ...Something like this should strengthening your faith...And make you stronger....Read your Bible through this for strength...And a healing faith...For by grace are you saved through faith,,And not of yourself...My prayers are with you...

You can't really restore your own faith in God. But He can.

First, you must realize that not everything that happens is caused by God. Some things "just happen".

Secondly, you need to know that He is not "punishing" anyone. This little girl just got sick.

Thirdly, there is a lot of evil in the world. Most of it is caused by mankind's choices, but sometimes by accidents or nature.

I was mad at God as a young girl. But I found out that it was a waste of time, energy and vital resources that I could have utilized to get through my crisis. No matter how angry you get at God He still loves you unconditionally. He is waiting for you to get over it, so you can see the real Love and Healing that is available in Him.

If your friend lives in the United States, tell her to go on-line to "www.thehealingrooms.com". This is a network directory of places where people pray for the sick, and many of them get healed. There is no charge or obligation. Many blind, crippled, and even AIDs patients have been completely restored to normal. It doesn't cost anything and it is worth a try!

I am so sorry for this little girl, but more so for the people who will sorely miss her. It is human nature to be angry when things like this happen. It seems so unfair. When we see something that seems to be unfair we want to blame someone. But, please know that God does not want you, or your friend, or that sweet child to be in pain. He did not cause the cancer. But, He will be with her throughout - and with you and with your friend. Tell Him how you are feeling - tell Him you are angry - tell Him you don't want to be angry and that you want to be strong for your friend and her daughter. He will grant you strength that you don't have in and of yourself to get through this. I will pray for you and your friend. There is a verse in the Bible that has helped me through some very tough times:

Phil 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Basically, it means, don't be anxious - tell God what's bothering you. The promise is not to make everything all better, the promise is to give your heart peace.

Hard indeed but if God wants the child is that wrong as He gave it? Harder to believe is that He would give His only Son and punish Him with death for our sins. We need to believe that God who is eternal and knows all things is indeed doing a great work even if we don't understand it. Who are we to question God? Look at the ways in the Bible that God brought about difficult things but then it turned out for good.

Well...I'm not a christian and I haven't given advice like this for a while so...In my religion, I believe everything happens for a reason, even something as horrifying as this, like if someone twists their ankle practicing for football and therefore can't be in the football team, they think "wow...I can't believe God did this to me, yeah thanks a lot big guy you ruined my life" But what if he had not twisted his ankle and made it into the football team? What if during a football game a bunch of guys tackle him from both sides and crack his spine and has to spend the rest of his life in a wheel chair? Seems much worse than an ankle that will just heal over time and he could just tryout for football next year, and maybe that will get him into the big leagues. I can't explain how the death of this child could be helpful, but maybe it's to avoid something much worse happening to a larger amount of people that you love. I know it's hard now, but there's always hope, so don't give up.

I understand ur pain.... and i guess every God loving and fearing person would.....actually the answer to your question is known to you.... but ur avoiding it.....All those that have lived their lives in the love of God they all had to go through hardships.... its a test of their love.... people who believe in God are subject to more test and trials then the non - believers as God love them more then the non believers...... Aint you remember what Shakespier said...."those that i love the most i cross".....

and about sinners then dear being a sinner in itself is a hell, being away from God is with in itself a hell... this world as we all know is only a passage ..... dont be too grieved when u lose something and dont be over joyed to have something special..... becoz all will be left here ...the joy happiness and pain all will vanish....

Faith is the greatest gift of God..... dont ever ever in ur life let it go....as their will be test and trials

Faith is a tricky thing. There's no way to force it, but perhaps speaking with one of your religious officals (pastor, preist, reverend, etc.) will help you to feel better. It's always been hard to understand why death is so impartial in it's selection. I'm sorry Mila is leaving so quickly. Just be a friend to her mom, she's going to need you, that's probably the best thing you can do.

God's ways are not our ways.

We do not know the reasoning behind it, but there could be many different reasons for God allowing this to happen. Not that i am saying it is any of these, but only saying it could be.
1 ) God could want her now
2 ) God is testing the little girls parents to see if they will turn away from Him
3 ) God is testing the little girls aquantences ( YOU ) to see if their faith will fail because of this
4 ) God may be allowing this, so a miricle can take place and He is Glorified.

We know not what the reasonings are, but we only know, that whatever it is, it is the best reason, This is what we have faith in. If God so desires to take the child to Himself, who are you to neglect that child from being in the presence of God.

What then, which is better, to be in Heaven, or to be on this Earth living ???????

A child or a loved one is a gift from God, many people have lost their faith in God, because of the loss of a loved one. Do we then love the gift more then the one who gave us that gift.

Read JOB he lost everything ( not just his children, but everything ) but his faith did not waiver.

i really hopes this helps you.
