I wouldnt even say that its shallow, considering you advance a competent component...that it isnt your type ro something reflective of what he could be attentive to approximately your character and style. It virtually appears like he ignored what you have suggested liking, which very properly is probably no longer 5 carat tiffany placing, and only went and offered the 1st element he observed, didnt do any study, and that i'm getting the impression he spent the extra money on himself. If he's often like this, i'd evaluate turning him down. If it somewhat is an remoted adventure, you are able to properly be waiting to rememedy the placement. If there's a glaring probem with the ring, you are able to play the "i'd desire to work out you get the main fee on your money" card and spot if he'd be keen to seem someplace else for soemthing extra proper. Even for 3 hundred, .25 carat ring shouldnt have numerous carbon and visual fractures. You culd even tell him your allergic to the steel and want ot attempt soemthing with a distinctive band. course, ti would additionally be that he's a guy and theyre clueless and definitely didnt be attentive to what he replaced into searching for. and then, yo constantly have the alternative of having a super pimped out wedding ceremony band and leaving the engagement ring interior the jewelry container. i be attentive to area of it is the certainly visual charm of the ring, and any female with the "basically the affection could remember" is a minimum of partly mendacity. it variety of appears like theres extra to it than him being clueless, it variety of feels extra egocentric on his area.

You don't have to have a ring if you don't want. It's just a materialistic symbol a guy gives to "prove" that he really does want to spend his life with you. You could use anything if you wanted to really. One of my friends bf's used a guitar string. :P
If you are looking for a cheap one, I would say, Ebay.com, Walmart, Sams Club (which is just a bulk store owned by walmart), or Meijer. Also check out the stores in the mall near you, sometimes they have really good deals/sales.
Hope that helps :D

Engagement rings aren't mandatory. If you don't have the funds for one.. don't go looking for something just because it's cheap.
The commitment of marriage is far more powerful than owning a ring. Concentrate on what's important and remember materialistic things are just that- materialistic.

They have great rings and jewelry at terrific prices! I bought a few necklaces from here. You just have to wait on the shipping, though. They even have a tab called "Engagement Rings".

Well, according to American culture a guy gives a ring to a girl when asking her to marry him. If he doesn't or it is because he's foreign and doesn't know he is supposed to, or he's flat out broke and can't afford one.
And If he is so broke he cannot afford a ring....he has no business thinking about getting married! And you shouldn't accept to marry someone who cannot afford to support a family.
And if you have to buy your own ring....that's even worse.
