If you are using Windows XP it's called "diskpart". Go to Help and Support from your start menu for info. You do not need the CD for this.

yes windows has that feature (disc patition).
assuming you have xp... insert the cd... restart computer... press del key or f1 or f2 depending on your pc brand, to access bios.... set first boot device to cd rom to have the it access the feature... read and follow instructions and you will do well.

on win98.. you have to type fdisk, remove partition, then repartition. then format... then you may then install the operating system (windows).

please be reminded that all data will be lost after fomating and partitioning.
