First off, there is no such thing as an ex marine. Only former Marines, so that tells me you aren't one.

You can't catagorize men by things like that. My gosh...men are just as different from each other as we women are....regardless of what careers we have....
FIRST off...there is no such thing as an EX marine, unless he received a dishonorable discharge....My husband is no longer active duty but will ALWAYS be a Marine.
Secondly...i married one....he's incredible. It has nothing to do with him being a Marine...it is that he AS a PERSON is a great person.
please do not choose to date or not date someone based on the fact they served our country...Respect them for it...Thank them for their service...but don't let it be what determines whether or not you date them....
c'mon ladies...there are so many more layers to men than we give them credit for! When they do that to us...we call them shallow.....

Why would a woman have a boy for a friend?
A male marine is a man; not a boy!

I don't think you are a marine. If you were a marine you would know there is no such thing as an EX-MARINE. Once a Marine, always a Marine.

They can be crazy. I have a uncle that is an ex-marine and when he came back from the service he was completely different. Be careful.

I was in a strange relationship with a Marine and I am still trying to get over it. If he was a good guy, then I would try it out again, though.

A military background is not a prerequisite for a boyfriend. Just fill out the application and I'll let you know if you've been selected. Lol! Just kidding. I suppose that would depend on whether they are used to giving orders or taking them.

scared..nervous.
but if ive known him way too long before he ever became a marine maybe i would be ok with it..happy, even.
got with only one military man and he was a delta ranger, hes okay. he was just too irresistable (women flirting with him) that it was almost impossible to have a normal relationship. but then again, thats just me.

i think their job makes it a bit difficult to trust them and have a normal relationship with them.the guy i love is a marine, and now i have to stand being away from him cause of his job.but i love him for the person he is,for his feelings.not for his job.he´s the best that could ever happened to me though.
