When was it when you knew you had the gift. Tell me about the experience you had. And what can someone do who has a gift to enhance it... Also on a personal note.. I am about to change carreers doing healing work as a massage therapist. I have been working at this spa partime, and they have asked to come full time.
I am so scared right now, and cant even explain why.. I have done massage before, but because of some life altering things I had to put it down. Now I am ready to move ahead, but I am scared that I wont be successful at it.. But the irony is.. When I am there at the spa working on people I have no fear. It is when I am not there working my regular job as a manager of a door and glas place that I feel so much fear. My regular job is a steady paycheck, whereas the spa job is based on clients.. What do you think?

I left to go to the store while you asked all these questions. On the way you came to my mind and I thought of your massage career. I knew your main fear involved this new move. I don't know how I knew.
I have always known things since I was a kid. People seemed to be determined to tell me NO! you don't know what you know so I ignored my psychic side for many years. I finally decided to gradually open up to it and to hone it, so to speak.
If you want details about it I will email you. It was such an ordeal. But anything worth having will be difficult. I am dreading where my psychic abilities seem to be taking me because it will be a taxing thing on me to help people in the way I am suspecting this is going.

Fryedaddy,
Well you can guess where I stand on psychics BUT...about that job! Try to look at a few things: 1. what do you WANT to spend your time doing? Is this a job you'd like doing better than your current job or is it just appealing because its "change." 2. What makes you not want the spa job? Is it a rational fear or an irrational one? usually decisions that are based in fear aren't our best decisions.
Try to estimate how much you would make at the spa place for the first few weeks and how soon you would have to pick up clients to make a real go of it. (Like crunch the actual numbers so you have something real to work with.) That way you can see if it's doable or not.
I say life is short. If you can do a job that makes you happier and have less fear - do it!

As for when I knew, it was really more about people telling me that I was. I always did strange things, such as bringing a 100' extension cord to a picnic, and finding out when I got there that somebody needed it to hook up a rotisserie or some weird thing. Friends are always amazed that I'll know that something is going on when they call, or I'll just know that I'm going to meet somebody when I leave the house. It's just too many coincidences piled upon each other.
As for enhancing it, the easiest way is to stop being afraid of it, and to start relying on it, as you do your other senses.
And with the new job, I think you know the answer. Word of mouth will get around that you are there full-time, and your clientele will grow. It might also be a chance to practice your abilities.

its not always easy 2 do so, but u can comfort urself in2 understandin the fear; it does not have 2 be an internal fight, it can be u workin with urself 2 just ask what ur fear is connected 2/what is ths source. these usually arise 4rm a misconception/illusionary perspective of somthin. that means in reallity u hav NOTHIN 2 fear and it is only ur perception of it that makes u afraid.
i'm dont calssify myself a psychic, but i hav been able 2 read people's intentions about somethin unrelated 2 what was physically happenin @ the time.
if th@s the same as bein a psychic, which i think it is, then as i always believed, its not a case of havin a special power, but just a case of lookin at the non-physical universe, which is the same as realisin th@ a friend is upset even when they're laughin

i believe everyone is psychic ... as psychic is no more than enhanced intuition ... and every mother knows we all are intuitive especially with our children
so it isnt a matter of realising you are .. but realising you can develop it more
as for your healing work.... you have a friend to speak to about that who can help ... she will also explain why these things come up ... about positions being offered to you etc by that i mean ... whats for us will not go by us
yes it is scary ... any change is scary
but you should work where your heart is and not where the money is ( if you can afford to do so )
i know many many people who have given up well paying jobs to work with healing ... because you get paid in another way
love to you and i wish you well xx

I'm far from being a so called psychic, but I do have the ability to feel or know things. Just a sense of something. Most of the time I'm right. Wish I wasn't........

Life is full of fears. Winston Churchill was a smart man. "The only thing to fear is fear itself". Fear is self doubt, usually brought on by realizing you can fail. If you feel good helping people, then go for it!

The funniest thing that I have ever seen.
The 'psychic' on Deal or No Deal. You would think that she would be able to pick the million dollar case be divination. I think she won fifty bucks....
psychics are a load of crap.
Do the job that you are happiest at. If you don't love your work, your life will be miserable. You don't need a 'psychic' to tell you that.

I got it yesterday. I bought mine at Kroger.
Most if not all jobs are based on clients one way or another. If possible, stick with both jobs and see which one is more stable or gives you more pay.
