If the guy is very much into his religion and the girl isn't. The guy I like is a christian. There's no problem there because I am a christian too. The problem is that he's always in church and has very strict morals. He has told me that he likes me but I'm not sure it would work out. He's in church all the time! I'm afraid that our lifestyles will clash. He's a great guy... I'm just scared he would be too stiff for me? Does anyone understand... I'd love your opinions and MATURE answers! Thanks. =)

I'm DEFINETLY not trying to change him. It is refreshing to meet someone who actually HAS morals and priorities. Church is his #1 priority though... I think I'm going to give it a shot.

Yes, it will work out. It's a choice. When we love a person, we make things that will make them happy not what we'll make us happy. There will be some type of sacrifices - that though difficult we're at peace and therefore happy which we can't explain beyond reasons. He's a Christian, devoted - because he's mustering all the efforts he could give to God while still single. If you get married, his priority or lifestyle will change (but not his faith of course). Be happy, your boyfriend is a Christian - a God fearing man who will opt to do what is right. Christian men I know are committed to their wives no matter what. They respect their commitments and marriage vows to God - to whom they are answerable if they fool around with another woman.

Being a Christian, is not just by title but of heart. How's your relationship and commitment to God. Am not here to judge but to remind. Just remember, try to befriend with God, your Christian boyfriend will see your beauty to another level. Relax with God, you'll never regret it.

I am in the same position myself...and I have to tell you. For me being a Christian and by significant other not being...its REALLY hard to stay on the right road all the time. It's kinda like monkey see monkey do if you get what I'm saying. It can work, and I know this because we are getting married next July....but it is hard sometimes and I don't live the way I want to in my Christianity because of it. I say give it a shot, you don't have anything to lose and if it doesn't work out you won't always be wondering the what-ifs. Good Luck!!

I have learned that men who are very religious with strict morals is the best kind of guy in the world. The reason for this is that they general communicate, they aren't going to cheat, and they are going to put everything into the relationship and making you happy. I am with the first church-going guy I've ever dated. He's honest, moral and I have no doubt about his love. Although we are different religions, he respects me and my beliefs and we are getting married next year. The rest is up to you - can you deal with a "straighter" more moral, more spiritual lifestyle?

It is possible. First I must say that him being activly involved in the church is not going to change. If anything he may become more involved as time goes on. The question you need to ask yourself is...... Are you willing to be involved with his lifestyle or just accept his lifestyle.

It is difficult to have one person as an active christian and one thats not but it can happen. The non active christian may be influenced by the other.

If you feel it would be an issue, before you've tried dating him, then it probably would be an issue because you've set yourself up to feel that way.

If church is his #1 priority then it's likely you wouldn't get as much of his time as you desire...and if there are differences in your lifestyles in other ways, then unless he's willing to loosen up and you're willing to stiffen a bit, it's not going to last long or be a fun ride...

You might discuss this with him, if he's shown interest in you and y'all are mutually contemplating dating...see if there's any middle ground you could find to enjoy together...

there is not any way of understanding which gender is definitely greater aggressive than the different whilst it comprises relationships (lesbian, gay, transsexual, at present day, or bisexual) and its impossible to be a hundred% particular whilst it comprises the examine that checklist documents from others, because of the fact everybody isn't continuously honest whilst comes all the way down to it. that's an particularly delicate subject and individuals are actually not continuously wanting to talk concerns of companion abuse or to checklist it to government. at a similar time because it the learn could be very precise, it has additionally been shown that woman tend to be greater open approximately greater delicate subjects than maximum adult males, because of the fact maximum adult males do not decide to admit they have been overwhelmed up by ability of their companion (male or woman) and taking this into attention, its just about impossible to confirm everybody is telling the fact (except of course we upload protection cameras all around them or have somebody stick to them 24/7, yet that doesn't artwork for obtrusive motives) So at a similar time as this learn could be precise its only approximately impossible to tell no depend if its authentic or not, and if its authentic and gay women folk tend to be greater violent than gay adult males, than there is a few the rationalization why this could be (verbal disagreements that turn actual, temper swings, pms and so on)

My sister went through the same problem. With her, she was pretty religious, and religion was going to be a pretty big part of her life. He wasnt too into the whole religion thing. But religion brings a lot of moral values into the picture, and that can effect a stable relationship. I think it's important to find someone who shares those same morals/values.

to reach a compromise here would mean either you attending church more,or him less,,are these options open for you or him is the question,,having faith is great for some but from what you have said he is rather obsessed isnt he,,what if the two of you were to date,,a problem arose and he wanted to use his belief to solve it but you wanted to use each other to solve it,who would be making the right choice? you have to have more in common than shared religion, you and he have to care enough about each other to make sacrifices which come in all forms.personally i dont think you need to live in church to have faith,,faith is something you carry with you at all times irrespective of where you are.

Ok. So you're not compatible. That's life. You meet lots of nice people and like them, but very few are a match. Just because you like a great guy doesn't obligate you to "make it work" or overcome major issues like religion. It's nice he's a great guy- but he's not for you. Simple as that.
