What will become of our earth if we dont stop harming by polluting, using it off fossil fuels, and all the other things that add to global warming and the decreasing of the Ozone layer, I'm worried because this is something that if we do not take care of it will not be here much longer, I'm not saying that it wont be here within the next 10years but what will happen within the next 10years of what we are doing to it?? Feedback as to help please, 1/2 of my home has Compact Flourescent Bulbs [cfl's] that only use about 13 or 14 watts but give off 60 watts of light. This is only 1way I have been helping...Anything else?

VP - Bless you sweetheart. If we all do our part there is still hope. Do a search on energy saving and you should get a lot of ideas.

There have been several critical press releases recently regarding our effect on the environment; namely,
(1) The global warming which we have measured is not the result of variations in the sun. It is unnatural.
(2) Deep coring in the Antarctic has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the CO2 in the atmosphere is 27% higher than it has been in the last 650,000 years.
(3) That we have no more than 10 years to enact corrective measures. After that, it will be too late. Another ice age is one
possibility. There are worse alternatives.

Research it for yourself.

How are we destroying it? Check this out, I just heard about this for the first time on the news yesterday:
