is there a way to bypass the sinning part and go straight to repent?

It is commonly thought that all human beings (with the possible exceptions of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary) have sinned at some point and are in need of repentness and forgiveness.

The fallen nature of humans that makes it so easy for us to sin is called Original Sin.

Even very holy people increase their efforts to be more and more Christlike.

With love in Christ.

Repentance simply means to turn away from. If there were no sin, there would be no need to turn away. Sadly, each and every one of us do things that are wrong. There is no one, except Jesus, that has ever lived a perfect life. There are some people that we think highly of - by the world's standards they are 'good' people - but even these people fall short of God's definition of 'good'. But what a wonderful world it would be if we could just bypass the 'sin' part! It would be paradise. That is exactly what mankind had before Adam and Eve disobeyed God.

You are misunderstanding. You do not sin so that you can then repent, but if and when you do sin, you repent to God of your sin, so as to restore proper relationship with Him.

Everyone sins at one time or another. Repenting is the acknowledging to God that what you did was a sin, was against his will. It also involves a heart attitude of genuinely being sorry for having offended God, as well as a sincere desire to avoid that sin in the future.

Without sin there is no need to repent, however if we truly evaluate ourselves we will see that in order to learn we often make mistakes. This is part of the learning process. So we repent of our mistakes (sins) and go on learning.

You telling me you've never sinned before? You'd be sinning if you said that! No one is perfect, only God the Father is! And you can't repent if you haven't got anything to repent!!

To repent is to ask for forgiveness for your sin. Yes, it is a great principle. We teach our kids to say sorry when they have misbehaved or hurt someone. God, as our creator deserves our apoligies. Our human and willful nature sometimes causes us to fall short. Asking for forgiveness and HIS help and cleansing helps us grow closer to him. Jesus is the only person that did not sin in the flesh.

the process is 4 highlighting inefficiencies and 4 converting them to efficiencies. if there are no inefficiencies left...well congrats

i think a slightly more enlightened approach would be 2 improve oneself 4rm ur intentions 2 ur actions and 2 just be conscious of who and what u are

i think it is misleadin to tell people tell people 2 confess sins 2 God, when God already knows. He wants positive and wholesome action on part of the "sinner" 2 withdraw 4rm th@ "sinful" mindset 2 a new one, th@s all

feel free 2 mail me 4 more info...:-)
