My 14 year old son won 2nd place in the State Fair of Texas Adult Pie Contest (thats right youngest contestant there) with this recipe
Mincemeat Pie

2 cups flour
1 t salt
¾ c shortening
½ cup ice water
Add flour and salt to food processor bowl with knife blade in place. Top with cover; process, pulsing 4 times or until combined. Add shortening to flour mixture. Process, pulsing 5 or 6 times or just mixture resembles coarse meal.
With processor running, slowly add the ice cold water until dough just begins to form a ball and leaves sides of bowl. As soon as you see the dough ball leaving the sides
Cover and chill pastry dough for 30 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness and. Place in a 9-inch pieplate; trim off excess pastry along edges.
Filling:

1 T butter
1 T Vanilla

The finest people...you can but the range in Tesco's.
The pasty of these mince pies is light and buttery and very nice, also if you buy their mini ones they don't have as many calories

well, I reckon any one that enjoy eat others flesh.
but i heard of a incredible recipe on a documentary on TV: a Russian guy killed his friend , cut his head off and put the meat of the body in the machine and made mince for his lunch...hmmmmm.....what is the difference anyway, of one meat and another, they are all flesh , blood and violence.
P.S. the documentary is real.
