In real life it has no effect. If you are talking something weird about Feng Shui then it real life it still has no effect.

but if the conner is of sharp edge, it is the bonce back of a negative chi.
just put some earth element for edges are prone to negative gathering, have a plant to adjust the flow, a real living plant.
or if you dnt have, put a small basin with halful salt and a little water. to neutralize the chi flow.

I've heard of this before and can assure you that it has absolutely no effect on the rest of us, and will go away when you sober up.
