I am 25 and dating a seemingly perfect man who is 26. He has been married and "burned" during that relationship. We have been dating for 3 weeks and he hasn't made a move. No hand holding, no cuddling, no kissing.....nothing. He told me he likes me and that he just moves incredibly slow and wants to get to know a person really well. At first it was fine, but know I'm starting to worry. I feel the chemistry, but I am scared to make a move and scare him. Any suggestions or advice?

For pity's sake.

Give this a chance to develop, will you?

Well this 'perfect' creature is obviously going through a crisis and he is now in need of space and he is taking his time about it and he is not going to go any further than that 'like'. You can move at his pace or move ahead. It's going to be along wait b4 anything concrete takes place. Sounds to me like there is no relationship here, just a shoulder to cry on...if he needs you....you are young...so go meet other people and have a good life!! He needs to talk about it but it seems like he is keeping his distance after what has happened to his past realtionship.

Three weeks and he says he likes you? I've been burned before too, but if I liked someone, I would have at least kissed her by the second date. Women are too sexy to be around them that long and not want to at least touch them. You should try to just give him a kiss to see what happens. Maybe he just needs to feel that contact to jar his man-memory.

How much time in 3 weeks have you spent with him. Talk to him bout how you are feeling, tell him you want to start holding hands when you 2 are out, and that you would like to get past the First kiss and see if there is mutual chemistry. TELL HIM

Well the kissing part i understand since sometimes a person takes a long time for that, but the hand holding and coddling its not normal for me....I think you should try to make a move on that and see what happens!!

It isn't too soon for you to give him some permission by taking his hand in yours. I wouldn't try to kiss him just yet, but someone has to break the ice. If he remains so unresponsive, however, you need to think about this more carefully. There may be deep issues here that you must consider.

This is entirely up to you Honey> If you think something is wrong, maybe it is. Just because he was burned doesn't mean he should make you suffer, he was the one hurt, not you. If he can't come around, maybe he won't. Ask him what happen to his first romance, why did it go bad.

While you're walking just hold his hand.... start gradual. If he allows it then move up the tree to kissing. You don't wanna just kiss him or he may get intimidated, but if you start slow he can get used to the waters.

Wait for him to make the first move. Don't be impatient. This is also good because you'll come to know him better.

It is probably time for you to make a move. He probably wants to deep inside but is too shy or inhinited to. Give him a peck on the cheek and look him deep in the eyes and tell him hi, the next time you see him.
