No, look at the sides of the radio facing. There should be four small holes, two on each side. These are there to insert radio removal tools. Insert the tools until you feel them push past the clips inside, then push the tools outwards slightly while pulling towards you to remove the radio. The tools can be purchased at the local auto parts store for a couple bucks.

No. There are 4 holes, 2 in each side. Go to Auto zone and buy the clip release tools, push them in slowly till they click, then pulling them toward the outside also pull the radio to you. It will be just a bit tight the first time, then it will come right out if done correctly.
The tools release clips that secure the radio. It just snaps back into place, no tools.

Above are correct. I just used a clothes hanger as mentioned and made a tool, I think it just push back some tangs and the radio pull out.
