Not all times of the day like İstanbul. But sometimes there are traffic jam in the mornings at 8.00-9.00 a.m. and in the evenings at 5.00-7.00 p.m. The main junctions became better by the new bridges. The biggest problem is Kızılay which is the main business and govn centre of Ankara.

I have to say that the drivers in Ankara are so inexperienced and they need an internship in İstanbul at least a month!!! The plate numbers of Ankara begin with "06" and called "moron" in İstanbul!!!

There is not a traffic jam which can be compared to İstnabul's in Ankara. We know that this city is younger than İstnabul and the infrastructure is generally better. Most people in Ankara work for the government and they prefer public coaches or "services" to go to work even if they have cars. Of course there is some traffic in rush hours especially in Kızılay region but if you don't pass via kızılay you can avoid it easily...

Ankara's traffic is better than Istanbul..But I searched it on the Net and I learnt that there are many road works. They make new roads or they make them better I don't know but because of them, the traffic is bad in Ankara (says the man on the Net)..But if I don't remember wrong, there are people who are from Ankara here. They can inform you better..
