Employees pay income tax on FICA; it's included in gross pay. Shouldn't it be INSURANCE and not income? (This is called Social Secuirty Benefits.)

Federal law determines what deductions from your paycheck aren't taxable. FICA isn't one of them.

Nope, that's the federal government at work!! Thank the democrats!!

It's your social security tax, that you pay on your GROSS income. You don't get to subtract taxes from your gross income!! They come off the top. And it's not true "insurance", it's really just a federal income tax by a different name.
