Um sorry to intrude, but, there were a couple of responses I am interested in. My tiel I was thinking of getting a mate for. Male and I heard about the quarantine period, but if I got my male tiel another male tiel and did the quarantine thing would it be ok if they seemed to get along? Mine is about 10 not like the, sorry I can't remember the questioners name, but will apologize, young ones. Again I am sorry to intrude. I believe your question could help a lot of us. I also looked at a site in Germany that had cockatiels male and females that were in heaven, huge room with lots of stimulating toys to peek their curiosity. Can't afford that but they looked happy. I hope your tiels are ok, separate them for a while like the quarantine thing. I hope things will be ok eventually. Please let us know. I am sorry I could not remember you name, but if I hit the back button I will lose my response. I'm Sorry.

You need to seperate your birds . They will eventually become so aggressive to each other until one is injured or worse.

They are reaching maturity and need to be in separate cages now. most likely both males or both females.

Try seperating them. If they are the same sex it is common for them to fight to declare dominance.

Adolescence, it happens to all of us. It's time for them to be separated.
