Melbourne Cup, I had a bet on 2nd placed Pop Rock to win, but i feel that horse should have won but in the last 100meters it ranacross and bumped into Delta Blues, which won. Who agrees it should have won and who knows why it didnt run straight?

Because his jockey, D. Olivier, possibly hit Pop Rock on his right back side with his whip and that made him shift to the left hence bumping into Delta Blues. What a great 2 Mi. race!!!

Most of the tracks I have been to are circles/round. As stated above they get tried and drift out because they do try to run in a straight line.

The horse probably got tired and drifted out, it happens. It's horseracing anything thing can happen! You win some you lose some!

Horses have a tendancy to tire at the end of a race, when this happens they drift out.
