It happens. You can't help it, but try being away from him and observe if his absence made you miss him. If you missed him , then you just got used to his company that was why you thought you don't care for him anymore. Be certain of your feelings before you decide to walk away from him. You might be realizing it late that you still love him , when he has found a new love.
