Assuming these are Very Well-maintained cars. Carfax shows ZERO problems, looks good

Of course, I am going to get these checked out by a mechanic before buying, also assuming I can probably knock down $1000 or $500 or these cars (OR MORE) by negotitating... What's the BEST deal?

98 Camry LE - 96700 miles - $7000 ($6000-6500)

97 Corolla - 59445 miles - $7000 ($6000-6500)

99 Corolla - 77142 miles - $6000 ($5000-$5500)

98 Corolla - 72277 miles - $5900($4900-$5400)

2000 Corolla - 86939 miles - $6000($5000-5500)

I wouldn't pay that much for any of them you could buy a 2003 corolla for what they are asking for these old ones. Go to kbb.com or nada.com you will see these are priced out of line you should do more shopping.

Actually, they all seem a little high to me. I guess the 99 corolla is probably the best deal, but it's still not a good deal.

the 97 corolla sounds like the best of those options. the true age of a car is not the year but the mileage. that would be my choice. you do not sound stupid to me at all. good luck

Well, since you don't know much about cars, then answering this questions is gonna be pointless. Let alone you didn't mention how many doors they have, engine they have, transmissions, and other amenities. Safety features, and what not. But if I'm walking in there blind like your trying, I'd go for the newest one. Hmmm.
