I personally don't mind children, if the man loves the woman he should accept the children. If the girl says that she has children, and I dig her, then I guess I have to accept her children as a part of our relationship.

Of course they care, some just don't care as much as others. I would be alarmed if a man told me he had a child/children. However, I would want to know more, like his relationship with the children and, where ever these children are, there is a baby's mama(s). I think men are most concerned about the idea of a baby daddy than the children!

Tough question. It would depend on the age I suppose. If your guy is young and can’t support the extra baggage, as you put it, it could make a difference. But all in all if he really cares I’m sure the two of you could find a way to make it all work.

It depends if the man is "up" for a ready made family, whether he truly loves her, and whether he wants to accept the responsibility of a "family" of someone else's descent.
If he doesn't want "the extra baggage" then he shouldn't get involved and he or you should move on.
It's all a personal choice but, I would say he "has" to care if he wants the relationship to succeed.
Some just don't want the responsibility of caring for someone else's child(ren).
I am one of the ones who doesn't care if the woman has children or not.
I am in a relationship with a woman who has three kids. It never occurred to me about caring for them, it was "as is". I never thought about it. If I wanted to share our lives, they just came as part of the "package" and I didn't have a problem with it.

Women care about extra baggage. Why wouldn't men? Consider the legal risks involved. Sometimes, when relationships of this kind go sour, mothers will often falsely accuse estranged husbands of molesting the kids just to get even. Stories like this are in the news all of the time.

If the man is really into the woman then the child won't matter. If he just wants sex then he'll leave. My Wife of twenty years had two daughters(9 and 12) when we first met. Yes, I still Love her and the the kids very much.

in most cases younger guys do.they don't want a girl with childern allready cause they think it will interfer with the relationship.older guys some times feel this way too,but for the most part the older guy whom has be married, and has kids does not care,I say to all life is to short to worry if the girl has kids or not if you like her then go with the flow who knows it could be the best thing that ever happened to you!

only because I have 2 of my own, and actually I tried to date a single mom once, but could not invest enough time into the relationship and be there for her son because of my kids needs. it isn't about "baggage" to me, but about my kids coming first.

That would depend on a lot of variables. How strong and what kind of attraction. The type of man.Not all men are the same just as all women aren't or all people for that matter.

Depends on the man. Be honest and up front with him about it and most of all be yourself. The right guy will come along and you will both be crazy about each other. GOOD LUCK
