It depends.

Are you willing to make the life changes to lose...and keep it off?

1. Park at the farthest parking space in the lot, and force yourself to walk.
2. Go up and down the stairs at lease 3-5 minutes a day.
3. Walk more....
4. Drink lots of water
5. Forget soda (unless with splenda..0 calories)
6. Forget white sugar, white flour, and white bread
7. Choose more fruit and vegetables
8. Eat breakfast every day
9. When snacking, try to have some nutritional value, and fiber...in mind.
10. At least on meal a week, and you choose when, eat whatever you want....and then go back to healthy....this way you dont' feel deprived.

Do whatever is healthy to you......and if you have to remove the weight slower, then that is what works best for you.....You are dong this for the best person in the world...and that is YOU!!!

So go at your pace, and ...one more exercise....every time you pass a mirror, smile...yes a big smile, because you are choosing to take back control of your life.

....and get some help dealing with what was bugging you....sometimes it's not what you eat, it's what's eating you!

That's a little faster than a healthy recommendation. The healthy rate for weight loss is considered to be between 1-2 pounds per week.
If you are losing weight faster than this, just make sure that you are taking a multi-vitamin and possibly some calcium as well. You want to make sure you are getting all your essential vitamins and minerals to stay healthy!

Good luck with everything

BRILLIANT - well done. You should be pleased with yourself & already feeling some good results in your general wellbeing. Keep going - you will find that the rate of loss slows up but you will get there if you see your change in diet as a permanent part of your life - ie - not to return to the habits that got you over 200lbs.

That's excellent but how did you manage that!!. Its important to loose weight steadily so that you don't make matters worse by loosing too much weight too suddenly. Loosing weight is part of battle but keeping weight down is even bigger challenge, Try methods which are sustainable that means ones you can carry on doing for rest of your life and at same enjoying life as well. Well done
