Decide to change your lifestyle. Then clean up your environment - get rid of all junk food in your home, car, desk, etc. Everywhere you hide your stuff.
You are addicted to the carbohydrates in the junk food. If you only knew how bad this stuff was for you - how it actually contributes greatly to shortening your life, you wouldn't have any problem giving it up.
Plan your meals, snacks. Take care of yourself - this is not a dress rehearsal - this is your life and it's the only one your going to have - take care of it.
The amazing part of changing your lifestyle is that you will find that you have more energy than you even thought was possible! Life will hold more fun and vitality than it did when you were hooked on the drugs of junk food.
I know from first hand experience. Try it for 1 week - you will see the difference!
Do it, do it, do it.

Unfortunately, there is no quick fix .. I feel for you about the chocolate. I love it too.. As for junk food, the only thing I can say is just stop.If that's too hard and I can believe it is, do it gradually.. Like say instead of the chips ,try eating nuts/seeds instead.. If you like fast food , eat instead of that hamburger , a salad or a fish sandwich..trail mixes are really good and fruit bars are excellent...
All chocolates are not created equally thou.. Some are good and can be found at any health food store,,,
Eat more veges and fruit than anything else .....as for some good sites , i listed a few ... Hope you have great sauces in getting rid of your junk food and Choco habit... :)

Try these tips;
1. Concentrate to the food you are eating. Don't eat during watching Tv, reading or studying. These would make you eat more than usual.
2. Eat in a small plate.
3. Take your foods away from TV. Removes all the foods to the kitchen. It will make you feel lazy to take it from there.
4. Brush your teeth and your tongue. Making this will reduce your desire to chew.
5. Avoid taking food that kept in the bottle or jug. You will not realize how much you have taken. Pick up a handful of it and put in a small plate.
6. Cut your favorite fruits into a cute slices to replace unhealthy snack.
Have a try!

The best way is cold turkey, because if you try to have small amounts, the tastes will start a craving & you will eat more than you planned.
If you are a student or working, have good snacks (Clif Bars are excellent, survive in cold or heat) readily available in a lunch bag with your water bottle, so that you can quickly have body fuel, which will ease the cravings.
After about a week, the cravings will abate and the entire process will be much easier.

hi, im a sports nutritionist and i have a client ina similar situation in the moment, when you are giving up dont give up it all at once. You will also need to find some 'healthy' food that you like and begin to eat that. to get away from junkfood/ chocolate etx, try and find alternatives e.g. small chocolate bar not big, quavers instead of high calorific crisps. when you are hungry try and eat something like toast or rice cakes in stead.
If is because you are wanting to loose weight try eating only when you are hungry. by this i mean you literary feel hungry. this wil stop you from snacking on food. instead you are likely to have your 3 meals a day and stick to them!

Drinking a hot lemon drink in the morning flushes out the system & helps curb a sweet tooth. I've no idea why or how it just does.
