I would stay away from Ireland and England just due to the fact that there money is worth boudle of what ours is so you only have half as much buying power. I spent a week in Dublin last year and it was very expensive, beautiful place though if cost doesnt matter to you. If you want to go cheap Czech and Poland are cheap and a good time but the few attration are few and far between. Poland is also changing to the Euro soon so its soon to become more expensive. I was there in July and Prices where starting to rise already. France and Spain are always popular destionations and you will probably run into more American then local nations if you book a guied tour. No matter where you go I would say stay away from the tours just learn the area before you go and do your own planning. Its way more cost effective and you see what you want when you want. Now for the two best places in Europe to visit I would say Germany and Italy. They both have rich history and many many attraction all line up one after the other. Rome is odviously another touristy area but if you go in the middle of the week its not bad. Spending weekend days down near Naples or on the Island of Capri (BEAUTIFUL!!!) would be way less hectic. As for Germany spring through fall is best for getting around with out being frozen. Things are a little more spead out but there is a lot of history and beautiful country side. There is a great trip known as the romantic road that takes you from north to south stopping at all the medieval castles. The last of which being Neuswanstein Castle, the one that insiper the Disney castle. I dont much other than Europe but there is something to do no matter where you go. It all depends on your finances and what time of year you want to go which is better. Also the most important thing, what insterest you....

Vietnam is absolutely amazing. I have spent the last 2 months wandering throught the country and just bought a house in Hoi An. Hoi An is right in the middle of the country about 3 miles south of Danang. It is on a river mouth and is an "Ancient town" which means that there can be no new construction and it will be left the way it is forever. Really beautiful with the China beach 3 Kilometers away. Vietnam is really inexpensive. Hotel rooms are as little as $5.00 a night and are quite nice. The food is great as it is in most of S.E. Asia due to the French influence from the colonial period. Good bread!!! Good coffee!!! Great pastries. Air fair is realitively inexpensive aswell. Round trip to Saigon or Ho Chi Minh is in the $700 dollar range. The last round trip I booked was $800.00. and fares can be higher and lower. Generally air tickets from there are less that they cost in the states. I can't really figure that one out. And they love Americans. I have literally not heard one bad word in all the time that I have spent there. The country has everything from beaches to great mountain terrain. I was originally sechedualed for one week in Vietnam. It looks like I am going to end up living there. The savings in room and board costs, more than makes up for the extra time in the air. you'll love it.

Also, there is a great spot in Laos. Its called the Gibbon Experience and you have to see it to believe it. Look it up on the web. You spend 3 days living in tree houses. Zip lines take you from tree house to tree house. Some of the zip lines are 400 meters long. That's three football fields. and one of the treehouses is over a great waterfall. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens are all in the trees and the views are truely spectacular. This is probably the most radical vacation place that you can go in the world. Really special and unique. The web site really says it all. Check it out..

I think you're making a good choice on Norway. There are a lot of attractions and great scenery. I posted link to some really cool things to see and do in Norway. Definitely go see the Northern Lights in Tromso. Also, the city of Bergen. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords so it should be easy to find a guide to show you the sights.

Any country would be good for vacation as long as it is a country where they won't shoot at you.
