I bought a plane ticket that doesn't contain my middle name on the passenger name. However my passport does have my middle name.

Will this create a problem?

(I'm flying international by the way)

No problem what-so-ever!

Don't even give it a second thought - just go and enjoy!

This will not create a problem what-so-ever. The only time names are a problem is when the first name doesn't match the passport or the last name. Usually when a lady gets married she will get her ticket in her new married name and yet her documents still say her maiden name. That's when it's a bit of a problem, but you just bring a marriage license and that shows the change of names.

However, just not having your middle name on the reservation/ticket is not a problem at all. Millions of people per day fly international with just their first and last name listed on the ticket, that's totally normal.

Without the middle name on the air ticket should not be a problem. My ex-boyfriend had the same experience. If you still are worry, it is better to call the airline in the current local city where you are staying now to reconfirm it. They should be able to offer any help to you.

Have a nice fly!

Do you have a valid drivers license? even an international drivers license?
Do you have credit cards with the middle initial on them.

They may ask for the 3rd piece of evidence, and I would hate for them to deny your identity....and you miss the flight.

If you have time, you could request a reissue of the plane ticket, and that would be the safest....and you have a right to do this!

Contact the airline for their policy. Because of the restrictions on travel currently. I always travel with a certified copy of my birth certificate and my marriage license. Plus a state authorized picture ID. I figure better safe than sorry.

It shouldn't be a problem. I have traveled international and my middle initial has never been on the ticket. If you still have doubts, either called the airport or your travel agent.
