Cathay pacific,Malaysia Airlines,Singapore airlines,British Airways,Emirates or Thai Airways?...These are my top six choices...

Pretty much all your choices are top airlines in terms of service and facilities. I personally prefer Singapore Airlines, and I've flown Cathay Pacific, and it was good, too. In fact, Singapore Airlines is the safest Asian-based airline. Your preference should depend on which country you want to transit in. I love the Singapore airport and Hong Kong. They are huge, with lots of shops.

Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines are the only ones I would consider out of those choices. They are top rated.
Don't forget Qantas, if the price is right.

Traditionally, Singapore airlines is THE airline if you want a comfortable trip with good food and service (and of course, the SIA girl). For something modern, try Emirates. Their stewardesses all wear these cloth hats with a long sash that's so middle-eastern, yet on each flight they have enough stewardesses from so many different countries that the captain of the plane takes more than a minute to list out the different languages that the stewardesses speak! That's pretty cool! Their in-flight entertainment is on par with SIA too.

I assume you're flying coach class.
Having said that, your choices are excellent - all of them have a strong following of loyal fliers, and all are highly rated airlines.
In my opinion you can't make a bad choice here, so go with the one that you can get the best prices.
