i was told i needed to download some software to my pc (hopefully its free) before i can download songs to my ipod... is that correct?
my boyfriend gave me this ipod and told me that pero unfortunately we JUST broke up and now im clueless as to what to do.
can someone help me?
p.s.
please explain to me in simple, simple terms... im NOT very computer savvy.

1. I think your boyfriend is goofy to drop you, but, he needs to learn more about the care and feeding of the gentle gender! So, I can't help you there, as that is all about his problems, as HE is the one who is clueless, and he isn't even here to discuss it!

you need to download itunes. (www.itunes.com)
then just plug it into your computer and the songs will automatically sync.
