i have some numbness in my left thigh. but, it's not constant. when it's not numb, i often feel a burning sensation in the muscles there and/or an insane itching of the skin. has anyone ever had similar symptoms? could this be some kind of nerve damage?

My boyfriend fell down back last winter and cracked a vertebra in his back. It didn't bother him too much then, but a few months ago, he started having numbness in his calf and his leg, he also had pain all in his leg. It was not so much in his back but that is where it was coming from.
I have lupus and I have numbness and pain in different place all the time and my cousin has diabetes and has what they call diabetic neuropathy, that causes numbness too. We both take a pill called Lyrica that helps alot.....My boyfriends pain requires surgery for help..Good luck

I think I have had the same thing. A few days later I noticed small red
spider veins in the same spot. I thought that they caused the weird
feeling.
