It seems that god is always from the devil

The Devil is neither a sub-god nor half-god. The Devil was once Lucifer, an angel in God's realm of angels. He lost favor with God by wanting to rule and have his own way and, as a result, was kicked out of Heaven. The Devil has many deceiving powers, but he cannot and will never over-power God. At the end of time, only God knows when that is --not even "the Son of man",Jesus Christ, knows when it is--the Devil will be bound and cast into the eternal lake of fire found in Hell. His followers will discover the same lake of fire(reference: Revelation, the last book of the Bible).

Neither of both. The devil is a created being, was an archangel and became the devil by rebelling against God. The devil and his minions are not equal to God, they are on the level of the other angels but much, much, much weaker. In the end, an angel will put the devil into his final arrest, see Revelation 20: 1-2. God does not need to do this by Himself.

Hello, the devil, or Satan, or his original name Lucifer was created by God as among the highest ranking angel in heaven, Would have been among Gods masterpieces.

He was created, and in charge of leading musical worship, so his skills in music are supreme, this is also why he enjoys messing with a lot of the worlds music, and inserting his messages within

He came to a point where he wanted to be like God, and was filled with pride, he influenced an misled a 3rd of the angelic hosts
to follow his way.

God then cast him out of heaven like "lightning" along with his other fallen angels who we now know as demons.

So in an answer to you. NO the Devil is no God, or Sub-god, he is a holy tool of God, turned evil.

His passion still has not changed from the begging, to be a god, and to have people bow to his authority. But he is destined to the "lake of fire", he knows this, and is doing all he cato make alot of damage, and deceive multitudes of souls to follow him.

and all that are not made right through the redeeming sacrifice of Christ, will also go the devils way eternally

God is all powerful (omnipotent)
All knowing (omnicient)
and present EVERYWHERE (omnipresent)

Satan has limited power
has limited knowledge compared to God, but far superior to match an human ever created
And is not present everywhere, but his demonic alliances are strategically positioned everywhere.

Compared to God, you should see the devil as a defeated foe, a minuscule pathetic ant, yet he is still on a long chain, until God has totally finished with him.

Look to Jesus, the one who has all authority over heaven and earth.

Christians took the Pagan God Pan & proclaimed him the devil. This image with the cloven hooves & horns comes from our beloved Pan, who is not evil. The Christians state that the devil was once an angel who didn't agree with God & was eventually cast from heaven down to hell. Depending on which religion you choose to see it, you could say the image of what the Christians call the devil is a tainted form of a God, or you could say that the devil is just a transformed angel.

The devil is nonexistent and God does exist. But this is just my take on it. I have personal evidence that God exists, but none that the devil exists. I think when the Christian religion was created, they were wanting an adversary for God because they wanted to feel like they were soldiers for God, or they needed something to account for all the corruption of men.

You have it backwards. The devil was at a time the most beautiful, most talented angel in heaven. Much like people he let the praise he received for his beauty and his singing go to his head and began to think that he should be as good or better then God,thus the war in heaven. He did manage to get one third of the angels on his side but they were all cast out of heaven. Therefore, they are still here walking among us. Depends on what your religion is as to how you feel about this but they were cast down to the earth into the darkness. Only God didn't create the earth for Satan he created it for man. For those who think this is crazy read about it in the old testament. When God came down and created earth as we know it with light, the demons were still here. the Bible says He did this in six days and rested on the seventh but we know that one day here could be a thousand in heaven so maybe it was six thousand years. All I really know is some day when I get there He'll answer all my questions for me. I know I have a loving God but I also know that the devil is forever trying to destroy anything good in this world and each time he hears someone arguing or calling names or killing or doing their drugs, he is laughing out loud but I can laugh right back at him because I know the end of the story.

God has and infinite power over the devil.

Imagine God as a human compared to satan as an ant. God can squash him like a bug or create a thousand spiders at any moment to go eat that bug, but he doesn't because he wants satan around to give us humans a choice to accept the world over an infinitley powerful God. It is all a part of the free will God has allowed us. What kind of God would he be if not the type to allow us to choose or reject him.

Satan is at Gods mercy. There is no battle of good and evil, only God allowing a season of free will.

God Bless

The devil isnt anything like God because he doesnt have nearly the same power nor authority. The only power and authority Satan has is that which God has granted him to begin with. Satan is the representation of everything that is evil and not of God. God on the other hand is the representation of everything that is good and just.

The best way is to compare what The Bible tells us of the two charaters, In Isa 14 starting at verse 12 its telling us of satan, but in the same book in chapter 53, it tells us of the second member of The Godhead Jesus Christ, He Jesus gave up His divine body for a human one and guess what when He returned to Heaven He still has that human body, not for just when He was here but for all time, no satan is a person who decided he would be God, he became proud, there is a complete bible set of lessons free at www.itiswritten.com also more bible questions www.bibleinfo.com email me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless hay why not visit A Seventh day Adventist Church in your area on Sabbath [satuday is the seventh day sabbath, sunday the first day of the week has never been called the sabbath or holy in all the bible] again God bless

Greetings Dellow

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Love and blessings
don
