is this a sin. I believe. If someone chooses not to believe not out of anger or spite but just because they dont want too does this mean they will go to hell? If i said "You believe good for you but i dont nothing personal against you or God." does this mean i am hell bound? Why?

Wen such questions come along most of the time the one who asks does not have an open mind. Religion can and does stifle knowledge.

There are many of us that do not believe in god and all that goes with it. that does not mean they are bad people either and it definitely does not mean they will go to hell.

Personally I am very much convinced that all religions are creations of man to control man. For any group of animals to live together there has to be rules to make it work. Religion was the method for thousands of years and in recent times has been shown to be non productive as people have become more educated. Religion is against progress most of the time.

Some of the most serious problems with people getting along with each other now is religion.

I know many will not like what i say and they are free in many lands to say so. Some nations will not tolerate such belief and will persecute those that profess what i have just said. In the name of a religion that is.

This answer is coming from a Christian who does believe in God...and the truth is that you won't go to hell!!!!Here's why....
Hell means the grave, according to the Bible. When we die, we all go the grave..our bodies do.
There will come a time in the future when God will allow all those who didn't follow Christ, to learn how to. This is their first chance. After being taught the true way to worship, if the person then decides NOT to follow Christ, they will be put to death by fire, they will be consumed by fire, not tortured for all eternity. That is the truth, according to the Bible.
So, altho you may choose not to believe in God, right now, I hope you will at some point, as God is a merciful and loving God. You see how God will give you an opportunity later? So..why wouldn't you challenge yourself now, prove it one way or the other, instead of later?
Hopefully this truth answers your question! God Bless

God does exist and hell exists. People that believe that if you're a "good person" you'll still go to heaven, it doesn't work that way. Jesus said No one comes to the Father except through Me. Works alone are not going to get you to heaven, being a good person is not going to get you to heaven. A person could go out and steal a loaf of bread and have a good heart, but if they're not saved they're not going to heaven, the Bible is very clear on this. The Bible hasn't changed, but people have tried to change it to their way of thinking, and you can't do it. The Bible is the True Word of God, if you're not going listen and follow, then what's the point. People can't make the Bible into a version that they like or what they want to hear.

If you don't believe in God then the concept of Hell and Heaven is also something you don't believe in because the wole thing is a package. So you can't be hellbound if you don't believe in hell! You need to figure out what happens to you when you die if you don't buy the God package.

lets do john 3:16 in a new way and add John 14:15, For God [The Father] "SO" Loved the world that He gave [Jesus the second member of the Godhead gave Himself] that IF we BE-lIVE in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, and IF I love Him, IF I am BE-LIVING in Him I will keep His commandments [not suggestions by the way] belief is not enough James 2:19-20 tells us that the devil believes and trembles. Sin is an outdated concept. And people don't decide what they believe. Either they are convinced or not. You can decide to study something, but you can't decide to be convinced by it. If I'm not convinced any gods exist, it is because the gods either don't exist or aren't convincing enough.

Besides, Heaven and Hell don't exist. When you die, you're just dead.

Lucky its a good question... when you dont believe in any thing then you dont have to do anything with that too right? ok lets put it on this way, you are standing right in front of me, and i close my eyes and i say, " no you are not in front of me, nothing is happening" so what you will think of me?
so if you believe it or not, its going to happened one day that you and me will be death,,, death is Truth, its coming, and we are sent to this world to know our self, to get know about why we are created? just to have fun? hang around? etc? thats it? but actually we are not sent for this.... you should seek for the light... your question is not more different then people in very very old times.... ignorance is a sin of course, a person should have some knowledge... thats why Prophets and messengers were sent to mankind, and Allah sent the books also... to give knowledge about him to mankind, he love his creation, and he gave us the paths, we need to choose which one is going to take us to him... you got to know it.... i will invite you to study about Islam, you will discover so many things, anyway seeking knowledge about religion is your right... if its near to your heart take it... if you would like send me email at pakimran@yahoo.com or go to nearest islamic center... come out of ignorance and see the light

If you reject God, you reject Jesus. If you reject Jesus, you reject God. If they dont believe in Jesus, they are rejecting the only way for them to recieve Gods grace.

"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. -Matthew 10:32
