Most of the time I only saw religious related question are posted by christians... that makes me wonder how many buddhist, taoist or confuciousnist are there at answers yahoo? So I was thinking of a little survey... and make some new friends of the same religion.. to hit 2 birds with one stone. So please put down your religion (any chinese related) and your email address if you would (not forcing you). Maybe we could have some religious discussion together.

Hello there. Funny you mention this because, as a boy, the first truly inspiring text I read was the Tao Te Ching. I still find myself reading it, at least in part, once a week. This text is so simple yet profound it put me on a path to seek out even more esoteric knowledge. I have also studied the writings of Confucius, the Vedic texts of India, Buddhism, Zen, Shinto, Suffic Islam, etc. All in all, the Tao really opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of things. I can read about Quantum Mechanics and sub-atomic physics and find the spiritual parallels within the science. I wish more westerners could be exposed to this. My email is viewable in profile.

Hello, I am a American Tibetan Buddhist. I've been at this for a while. I am not a scholar or a pro. Just a average guy trying to see the truth. If I can help though I will try. If I don't know the answer I'll try to find out, if I can't I'll tell ya so.
