First of all, have you told him how you feel? He may just want to be close friends with you, but you never know if he feels otherwise if you don't tell him. But, if he is in love with another girl, there is nothing that you can or should do about it. If you truly are his friend, you need to accept that he is in love with this other girl. But, if after you tell him that you like him he just tells you he wants to be friends, I would accept the relationship/friendship as it is. Who knows? Maybe your friend will lose interest in the girl at some point, and you can tell him then.

If he's your close friend, there's a good chance he has some feelings for you anyway. Are you sure that he's in love? He might just like someone... especially if you guys are young. hahaha... we have the same situation girl! but mine is my bestfriend :(.. well i guess if u don't want to lose your closeness to each other, u have to hide those feeling of yours and forget about that feeling though.. or if u leave it to fate,, u can tell those feelings but have consequences. either u lose ur friendship because he would not get comfortable with u or he would just accept those feelings of urs but he would still love the girl or he feels the same as u....
