Soz if it doesn't make much sense... Please help!!! Thanks people!!!

Love can conquer time and space, so yes, this could work. But some common sense needs to be applied too. For example, if you both make enough money for you to see one another and even envision a future together one day, then you have a good chance. But if this will only be a correspondence affair, then no, it very well may not. Age also is a factor. So weigh out these simple"facts" and they will help you decide in a kind and balanced way. It is never easy to make such a choice. I will light a candle for you both. :)

If you have long suffering patience in terms of years and trust.
You also need to keep frequent contact with each other via phone, email, IM or letters.
It is hard and the longer you are apart the harder it is.

Yet it is possible.

A relationship like this is hardly a short term fling but a slow drawn out affair.

If you are committed, think seriously about the likelihood of you and your man getting together and the steps the both of you need to take in order for it to happen.

Sure go for it with the realization that it will more than likely not go anywhere. To have a deep and meaningful relationship you have to be close so that you can see each other, touch each other, and have lots of time together. That said, long distance relationships are fun.

give it a go and see where it leads.

hey, you guys are only about 8 hours apart, so it's not really that long on a plane (better than Oz and UK).

take it slow, talk heaps, and set some ground rules (basically you both MUST be open and honest with each other)

but I believe in love no matter where, so why not give this boy a chance (coz you obviously like him already to ask this question)

Well Dizzy Honey: your a long way away. If it's going to be a "pen pal" type of relationship, I could agree, a friendship thingy, you know? But, why tie yourself up like this? it's not necessary.
