I started getting errors regarding my operating system after loading IE7 and I had to clear my hard drive and reload all my programs and files to clear the problem up. My computer whiz buddy said he had to do the same thing for someone a few weeks ago. He made some calls and heard about some other incidents similar to mine.

I have heard there is trouble with the scripting on IE7. Not for sure what the problem is, I dispatch emergency runs that is ran through IE to get to news media. The CAD does not work well with IE7 at all. Thankfully other agencies notified me before updating from 6 to 7. Glad I did because 7 is really causing problems. If you have 7, try to get someone to help you get 6 back till they get this resolved. GL !!

I've loaded it onto 4 machines without any issues - always installed with antispyware, antivirus and third party firewalls (especially zonealarm) disabled or uninstalled(!) and only the windows firewall running. But if it isn't working for you then it's wiser to wait for a service pack update or try an alternative IE based browser such as Avant or Maxthon - or dump them all for Firefox. But I agree: IE7 should run straight out of the box and not mess up your system.

I've not experienced any problem from the new IE7.

We rolled out in our office and have not recieved any problems yet. It's been about 3 weeks I think.

I think either it has to something with the hardware compatibility or it could be another one of Microsoft's anti-piracy statement.
