about the religion you are? Does it matter what the name of the group is called? (if you are in a church)
Does God favor any particular group?
Tell me what you believe about being one of God's saved?

I totally agree with you Mortgagegirl,,,I am non-denominational too...Just want to know what others thoughts are, as to whether one religion is better than another.
I don't actually presume that we know what God is thinking...as I personally believe that the title of the religion doesn't matter to God..

I am pretty intelligent but I would never presume to think for God. However I am non denominational and I do not attend any organized religion. I study the bible in my own home, I go and sing in a couple of different churches and have been invited to do some singing in Jail based music ministry. I think the only group God is interested in is the Group that follows the Word and have accepted Jesus as their savior, whatever denomination they may be.

God does not care about trivial matters like what religion any of us are. THink about it: God is very busy. Why would he be concerned in what the trivial little beliefs are that each of us carries within? God favors no one. He is only waiting to see who treats others fair and good. In the end, we will all be judged based on our actions, not on which book we chose to read and believe. As for being one of God's Saved, I am not so arrogant to believe I can presume anything from God. Therefore I can only perform good deeds and hope god finds me worthy.

Why should God has to think, Please understand that
we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation
Thanks

Groups are made becoz of the division in faith....whats the point of having different groups if they all have same faith? (by faith i mean; the path which they follow in order to reach their destination)
My religion is Islam....and it tell us that on the day of gudgement Everyone shall be raised along the one He/she followed and believed, in world.
Unortunately we are born in a age where the true path is bleak and too many interpretations of devine religions.Yet they say There is enough light for those who want to see.
I think its logical to say that who ever finds the true path ...he/she would be more close to God.
God saved are those that Love God and make no equals to Him.

God has told us that whoever believes and follows Jesus shall have eternal life. God favors the people that are doing his will and doing what Jesus wanted to do.
Being one of Gods saved is a special gift that has come by Gods grace and my acceptance of his truth. But after that, I am called to give up my life in service of him. Jesus said we have to take up our cross daily for him; that means we have to completely live for him and do what he wanted us to do. Jesus wants us to preach and teach the Gospel and baptize believers and that has become my main focus and why I am here right now. (Matthew 28:19)

I believe that it is impossible to be lost so there is nothing to be saved from.
It is only something that you have been told to believe, it is not real.
Love and blessings Don
