What's up with that line, "Learn to love yourself!" My Lady friend (She despises the term "Girlfriend!") says the same thing and I think it's a cop out! Hell, we're together more than some married couples I know! What's wrong with getting to know and love yourself while being shown how wonderful you are by someone who loves, respects and wants to be with you? Life's too short for silly little games. Either you enjoy someones company or you don't! It's that simple. Life road is a hard traveled, dusty, dingy, slippery slope when your all alone. Why not take that journey of discovery with a person who's willing, wanting and wonderful to boot. I don't know how old you are but there come a time that one should already know and love ones self. Yes, there are times everyone needs some time alone but, unless you want to be a monk, everything I want is much better done in, at least, pairs.

And, you are only as beautiful as you 'see' yourself to be.
Low self-esteem ruins more people's lives than does being self-centered, but try to strike a half-way point in relation to your thoughts about yourself.
