All his hairs on his arms, face, legs are white! Except for the one on top of his head. I'm wondering why did this happen? I mean, I know it's a side effect but HOW? Somehow, I can't help but feel a shiver going down my spine everytime I see him.

Instead of preventing the hair on his face to stop growing, the hormone therapy must have prevented an allele(chromosome) in the pigment of most of his hair to 'hide'(his hair on top of his head is still there because the hormone therapy does not affect that part)

However he should see his doctor, and see if there is a different hormone therapy he could try.
One thing to remember, even though it may be disturbing try not to make him feel like an outcast, treat him as you normally would.
Best of luck to you and the schoolmate. :)

I can think of no possible reason for this to happen. Have you spoken to him and this is what he said or is this what you surmise? Even if he told you is was the case I still doubt it...

Well, this is certainly a cautionary tale. How to scare your friends by taking little pills.
