Next time when they try to hug you, just move away and make a kiddis face and say, "I am not a baby anymore. I am a Big Girl like now. So, don't cuddle me and treat me like an adult." and give them a BIG BIG smile with beaming eyes. And then, move away. Sometimes you can just say ina matter-of-fact and serious tone, "I don't like to be hugged, Papa/Bhaiya. I feel uncomfortable" and just walk away. Do not make it sound like you are trying to blame them for anything or have any other meaning than the literal one. After a few times, you can just spontaneously step back and give them a high five instead and "Yeah!" They will get the message without relationships turning sour because of the misunderstandings.

That is not an unnatural feeling when you are a grown up girl.
I am sure that when your father or brother hugs you, it is surely a fatherly or brotherly hug. Nothing more. And they possibly can't have evil thoughts.
By the way, what is the 'hard something' that you feel when hugged? Please don't make wild allegations. It would hurt them a lot if they learnt that you were misinterpreting their affections.
Finally tell them that you prefer not to be hugged as it makes you uncomfortable, if that is what you want. Plain speaking solves a lot of problems easily.

This not the type of hug a brother or a father is to give to you. Are they blood relatives or are you adopted? If this situation continues I suggest you seek professional advice or better yet what does your mother say about this? You are supposed to feel comfortable in your own home if not then the issue must be addressed. This situation we do not want to escalate to anything more serious, like unwanted advances. Keep in mind this is a delicate issue, but it has to be communicated about in order for resolution to happen. If you are a minor there are programs you can call on for help, check with your school counselors for information.

As a father i kinda understand what you are asking. I was often the same way when i hugged my daughter or nieces. I thought their was something wrong with me because they turned me on. I finally realized that it was the excitement of seeing them that provoked the response. It didn't help that she was a beautiful young women but the sexual thing never entered my mind but the hard on confused me so i quit hugging my daughter if i did it was from the side like teachers do to little kids so they don't get into trouble. i think it made me feel better but confused my daughter. i now went back to hugging full frontal and be careful because I'm a hard hugger because I'm glad to see you and missed you.

Something is wrong if you feel something hard when you hug. You are talking your Dad and Brother. You shouldn't have to be standing so close to them, for a hug to feel anything. Something is defiantly wrong though, maybe you should go get help. If they both feel hard, I would talk to a councilor, or someone. It could lead to trouble.

Next time just place both hand, palms facing them in front of the body and just bend down a bit, them may hug your head instead, they may get the message. Good luck

Keep both your hands in front of your chest when they hug you next time. They will get the message. Still if it persists just tell them right away.

I would feel uncomfortable too. My step daughter hugged me when she was developing and I told her to stop it. Innapropriate is the word I would use to them. If you feel them hard, either you or them is sick.
