The last time I checked, America was a sovereign nation, and as such, has the right to control it's borders... notice I said the "right".. but, do we have the "will"? No politician will risk angering a block of voters, be it Hispanics, Jews, Cubans.. it doesn't matter, especially in an election year (every 2 years) so nothing gets done. It will take a "this is the right thing to do and I don't care who doesn't like it" attitude from congress to ever change that reality.

Yes, they do have that right...
Its the same right that you have to be able to put up a fence on your property to protect your home. Im am sure you wound not like it if your neighbour told you not to put up a fence or told you what to do or not to do on your property.
Mexico should stop complaining and learn how to run their country better to educate, employ and keep thier people happy.

Of course it does.
I'm curious why Mexico believes they have the right to tell us what we can or can not do with our border.

Yes - we also have a right to leaders who protect us.
But we either don't vote for them, or there are none to choose from.
