my male partner has been suffering from genital scratching n irritation for d past 6 months. at first he thought it waz some kind of STI but after repeated tretment whilst taking preventions he is still suffering from this condition.

Jock itch or a fungus (like athlete's foot). Also, they are usually asymptomatic, but men can get yeast infections. He could also have a skin infection having nothing what so ever to do with sex. It could be a simple dermatological issue.

Sweat. Jock itch. Pubic lice. A skin condition of some sort.
I'd recommend he ask his doctor.

wow,..I was thinking it was from just not keeping it clean enough
cause my son had that, but it was cause he would work up a
sweat and not wash often. Keeping it washed and as clean as
possible made his problem go away. But, ya know...Good Luck.

well, tell your partner to wash or better to take a shower often...if he has a lot of pubic hair then he could shave it maybe the hairs irritating his sensitive skin...or he could check a derma...
