What exactly is pinal idle sinus, and what are the symptoms?
My mother had it years ago, and she thinks I have it now.
I have a pain in my tailbone and the surrounding area for about a week now. I know its not a bruise because the pain comes and goes and moves from one side to the other.
please help.
I cant see a doctor until monday.

It is a lesion near the tail bone comprised of multiple sinus tracts of abscesses. It is supposedly caused by imbedded hairs that are found in the center of the lesion. The symptoms are pain and tenderness in the area with drainage.
