There are many website which will do translations for you. It is hard to READ how to pronounce words because you really need to hear it and not just read it. I suggest you go to the library. Most libraries have some old cassette / book combinations for learning these basic phrases. Or, if you have the money, at a bookstore, you can buy one. Or, online, there are many excellent products for sale which will give you the basic vocabulary and words you need and also pronounce them for you so that you can HEAR what it sounds like and imitate the sounds correctly.

I have an idea for you. This is what I did to learn german. Get an advance French language book. But.....make sure that it is a book that gives you perhaps a paragraph of French and the same exact paragraph perfectly translated in english. Now here comes the hard part......memorize it, that's it. I live in Würzburg Germany now for 2.5 years and I can hold good conversations. I don't think that you will find anything on the internet that is very reliable, and as far as pronunciation........it will always need work until you are actually in France and hear how the people speak.

Dear Missd 1975, French, greater than the opposite traditional European languages like Spanish, Italian, German, relatively demands you to have interaction with a local or anyone that speaks the language good - chiefly within the early phases - given that the sound procedure isn't that good represented by way of the spelling and the sounds (phonemes) of the language are fairly precise from the ones utilized in English. Ceci dit (having stated that), after you have the fundamentals, it is particularly convenient to pronounce. Simple instance, the verb 'to provide' - I, you (sing) he/she/it, they provide are all mentioned the equal, however they're written - donne, donnes, donne, donnent respectively. It's essential that you just get a well begin in order that you are no longer hampered afterward for your experiences.
