In order to build muscles you need to build some body mass, which you need to take in the form of food. It's the style of excercise that stops this mass being fat and makes it muscles.

Go to a gym and talk to a personal trianer a few times to get to know how you should do this.

WEIGHTS. lifting, pulling, resistance. That will build your muscles, and get you the abs you want. Get as much information as you can, on how to properly lift weights. Cause you can hurt your back, etc, unless you know what to do, and what not to do. You gotta eat too, and you'll be able to train your
own body and shape it to the way you want it to look.

You might not be eating enough protein, or eating enough period. Almost nobody can look like one of those uber-body builders, though, and the ones who can are usually on 'roids.
