Plain yogurt is good in small quantities when the dog isn't having the runs. Something you can give to help with the diarrhea is canned pumpkin. Small dogs only need a teaspoon and a half, a medium sized dog will need a tablespoon. Give it an hour or so and see if they have the runs still- if yes give a little more, if no, then just go back to regular food feeding.

Did you suddenly change her food? Most times if you switch a dog's food brand it will give them bad diareea. Gradually change it by mixing in small amounts of the new food at first then increase it.
As for yogurt... why would you give a dog that has an upset tummy yogurt? Wouldn't that make things a little worse? My vet told me once that you can give dogs a little dose of pepto bismo to calm their tummy. Don't give much, just like a tablespoon or something. I would pass on the yogurt, but then again I'm not a Vet. Good luck!

You can give a dog plain yogurt, don't give her too much of it, only like a few tablespoons at a time. You can give her Kaopectate or even pepto mixed in with the yogurt.

id give my animals olive leaf extract or capsules or put olive leaves in their drinking water.
another good thing is charcoal, use as drinking water or capsules or tablets.
any clean wood (no chemicals)is great to use- grind in a grinder, this should stop it within an hour or two, just keepit up until no 'runs'

You can feed your dog plain yogurt, but I doubt it will help.
