how do you usually plan in your settling down and having a family?
get a girlfriend 1st before finding money or find money 1st then get a girlfriend or find a girlfriend at same time find money?
it is crucial to me because i have depression and no savings and eking out a living and is trying to be a better person.
what is the best option for me?

Try hard to make some money at the same time mix with some good friends and some prayers will help too, then find a right girl before marrying, make sure you marry, life is wonderful.

I made it a point to try to do my best money-wise and marry at the age of 25. I set that deadline for myself but promised to tell the truth to my spouse about my financial conditions and in your case, I would tell my gf too. It is her position to decide whether she would like to live with a broke or not. Perhaps, she can find some work too and you can both share a good life together.
