I have a cold. I have a large nose. I also have a large amount of mucous that keeps filling my tisssues. I was wondering if my nose were smaller, theorettically, it couldnt hold as much S.P.I (snot per inch) If this is true, than couldnt we make a device that would inhibit the amount of snot in your nose?
Ive got that patented, copyrighted and believe me when i say i dont lie.
Thanks for your input:)

If your nose were smaller, you would be choked up with mucous.

Well think about this...theoretically you would have less snot within your nose if it were smaller, but the buildup, would still be within your lungs and nasal cavity.

You wouldnt eliminate it, it would just take longer to expend all that mucus from within you.
Does that make sense?

Again, if your body creates 20 cc's of mucus when youre sick, and you decrease the size of the nose, well it will just take longer to release the 20cc's.
Your bodys going to still create the same amount of mucus right?

No, but you've proved your brain is smaller than normal.
The snot (mucous) is made in your sinuses, not your nose.
The amount of snot that comes out would be the same if you had Jimmy Durante's nose or Michaels Jasckson's non-nose.

Sort of. When u have a smaller nose, u have a lesser chance to get dust in your nose which turns into snot.

I'm not so sure I don't know if the nose works like a bottle or a pressure canister.. I know it sometimes feels like a pressure canister so maybe a small nose can pack it in too but with more pressure. Again, I'm not sure, just a thought.

No, it couldn't hold it. You'd have to use a tissue more often. As for your invention, I personally wouldn't walk around with a device stuck in my nose...I'm not snorkeling...

S.P.I.? GREAT LAUGH FOR ME! The size of your nose doesn't matter. Keep blowing.

I don't think so. It's like asking: If your head is large, are you smarter (since your brain is large too)?
