some do yes, but it is from those who believe blindly, and do not have a clue what they are talking about. The more educated christians such as myself have no problem aknowlodging dinos.

Science doesn’t know everything nor does it have an explanation for everything. However, I am more likely to believe in science then the supposed science of the bible. Or do you actually believe that the sun revolves around the Earth. We have visited Jupiter and observed its moons; we have been observing Jupiter since Galileo. But, when Galileo first observed the moons of Jupiter he proved that everything doesn’t revolve around the Earth and that the bible is in error. For that unspeakable crime he was imprisoned in his tower for the rest of his life….and oh yeah, the last pope pardoned him 400 years later; but I don’t think that Galileo cares anymore.
Every primitive culture has its own creation myths. The Hindi do, the Greeks did, the Norse did, and the Christians do. However, those are just myths. They were made to answer the big questions of life: What are we? Where did we come from? Why are we here? They were needed because there was no other information or explanation available. Now a-days we have outgrown the need for such myths, or at least the smart ones have. After the invention of the scientific method we learned things, but it suddenly didn’t give us all the knowledge in the Universe. The Greeks thought the ultimate indivisible particle of Universe was the atom. We know better now days, we know that there are particles that make up the atom, particles that make up these smaller particles and even smaller particles that made them. We are still looking for the smallest particles. If you don’t believe this then nuclear reactors don’t work and Chernobyl didn’t happen.
I believe in evolution because it explains things that happened. I see it in practice every day. God didn’t make dogs; man tamed the wolf and made dogs. He changed their breeding and selected the traits that he wanted. He did the same with the horse. Or do you disbelieve in the dog and the horse? How do you explain the new breeds that have been created in the last 200 years? God didn’t make them, man did, and Noah didn’t have Irish Wolfhounds on his Ark. What about pygmies? They weren’t aboard the Ark and they surely didn’t descend from Adam and Eve. In the King James Version these people were white and didn’t have any genes for black or oriental people. Do you not believe in Japan or China? I know a lot of Veterans that would disagree with you on that. Do you think that all blacks should be slaves, because they can’t be people, they aren’t mentioned in the bible? In the King James version even the Egyptian Pharos were fair skinned.
Then, God completely forgot about the dinosaurs, they aren’t mentioned in the bible. We have 1,000s of museums that have dinosaur exhibits, or do you think that they are all fake? How about malaria, cholera, small pox, rubella, and the common cold; do you believe in them? The bible doesn’t mention that Noah made germ cultures and carried them on the Ark. Some of those bacteria and viruses didn’t exist in the regions where the bible took place so they couldn’t have known about them. Also how did the plants survive, Noah didn’t carry Redwoods or Redwood seeds on board the Ark, because they were unknown until the 1600s. Or do you not believe in California’s Redwood Forest?
I was a true believer at one point, and I didn’t transform into an atheist until I understood a lot of science, in another words until I knew better. I was exposed to the concept of Occam's razor…. The simplest explanation is often the best. You can come up with some pretty complex theories to make all of the bible work, but they don’t hold together. The simplest theory is that the bible has some errors and misconeptions in it and has to be thrown out when using logic and reason.

The word “dinosaur” is a new word, invented in 1841. Dinosaurs are described in the Bible in Job 40:15-24. I think that most Christians agree that dinosaurs existed; but they argue with evolutionists about how long ago the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
There is no evidence that dinosaurs existed millions of years ago. It is possible that a pair of young dinosaurs were aboard the ark. Most of the fossils were probably formed in the early stages of the Flood, which occurred around 4,500 years ago. Carbon based dating is not exact, and can be off by thousands of years.

The dinosaurs were the masters of our planet in their time and it's kinda strange that the Bible has no mention of them. I am spiritual but I don't consider myself to be religious probably because of the exaggerated zeal that religious observers portray, probably blinding them to scientific fact even when it's right in their face. Although it might not be a bad idea to dismiss religion entirely since we really don't know what awaits beyond death despite of atheism and agnosticism. As far as dinosaurs are concerned, there are also theories of the real possibility that before the dinosaurs, there were other lifeforms that inhabited the earth millions of years before them which were also decimated and still then, other lifeforms that also existed before those and so on, ranging from single cell entities up to protoplasmic organisms. If this is so, the earth has been hit by a gigantic asterioid multiple times spaced between intervals of millions of years, the impact being so devastating that it would send enormous amounts of dust and debris into the atmosphere, effectively blocking out the sun and sending the planet into an ice age. So apparently, the earth has suffered through various ice ages, destroying all life on earth.

Why would Christians not believe in Dinosaurs? They have found their bones. The fact that they were here, does not make any difference. God made the animals and man, so the Dinosaurs are animals. If it said that man was created first, because I do not remember the order, then there were probably some cavemen running around about that time too. Big deal. I am a Christian and it does not take proof of the existance of Dinosoars to make me a non-believer? I trust God to make whatever he wanted to make, maybe He knew we would need oil in the future.

Yes, it is true that some Christians do not believe dinosaurs existed. They believe that they are a scheme from the devil to put doubt in peoples minds about creation. Those that believe the universe, earth and everything in it were created in 6 literal 24 hour "days" don't have any rationale for dinosaurs. Once people learn the Truth about creation things become more clear and logical, unfortunately not all people progress to that degree of understanding.

Hi, I am Catholic and I think that as parts of our history have yet to be resolved you can make an educated guess at something like this, my own thoughts on this are that Adam and Eve were created after the dinosaurs, there is a curious line in the Old Testament that states ` there were giants on the Earth`, this could refer to a race of very tall people or it could refer to dinosaurs, as it is likely that their skeletons were more visible back then, what we do know is that mankind is actually a new arrival on the world scene when compared to the scale of time and age.
regards.

I have heard Christians say that dinosaur bones and fossils were planted on earth by the devil to deceive man. Some people will deny the nose on their face.

Some do, but it's a very small group. I was once told, by a Christian, that Satan placed those fossils there to deceive the world.
And to those who think dinosaurs walked with man... are you watching the Flintstones as if it's a documentary???????

sorry, but dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible too, at the very beginning, when it talks of "monsters populating land and sea". Anyhow, true Christians believe not only in dinosaurs, but also in Big Bang and the evolution.... this being part of the original design of God. It is irrationale to deny what can be seen and what the science shows us... and God cannot be irrationale.
